FAQ

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally-occuring constituent of industrial hemp (cannabis sativa) plant. It is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in canabis. Most people have heard of the cannabinoid called THC, which is the ingredient in cannabis that gets users high. Unlike THC, CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and does not cause a high.

What is the difference between hemp & marijuana?

In a world of science, industrial hemp and marijuana are the same plant, with a genus and species name of cannabis sativa. Basically, they are cousins in the plant world. Each plant has different characteristics that yield different cannabinoid and terpenes.
Marijuana will typically have a higher amount of the phytocannabinoid THC with a very low amount of CBD. However, industrial hemp will have a higher amount of CBD with low trace amounts of THC.

Absolutely! Studies have found that CBD has worked for dogs and other pets in the same way that it has worked for humans, through the cannibinoid receptors in their brain. Common benefits are decreasing anxiety, decreasing inflammation in joints, and so much more!

Did you know that your body has a built in Endo cannabinoidsystem? Your body (and your pets too) naturally produce cannabinoids. The primary purposes of the Endocannabinoid system are to assist in stress relief, Neurprotection, immune response and regulating the bodies state of homeostasis. Almost every organ in your body, including your largest organ the skin, contains cannabinoid receptors. When homeostasis is achieved, all body organs and functions are working together in unison. We can break it down further, but we suggest you schedule a consultation for that, we would love to chat! To keep it simple, the Endocannabinoid system also known as ECS, it’s so amazing that from beginning of life, it determines if a fertilized egg will implant in the uterine wall...or not.

While the CBD movement is in full swing and moving swiftly, there are still regulations as stated above. CBD products must have THC levels .03% or lower.
