What is CBD?Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally-occuring constituent of industrial hemp (cannabis sativa) plant. It is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in canabis. Most people have heard of the cannabinoid called THC, which is the ingredient in cannabis that gets users high. Unlike THC, CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and does not cause a high.

What is the difference between hemp & marijuana?In a world of science, industrial hemp and marijuana are the same plant, with a genus and species name of cannabis sativa. Basically, they are cousins in the plant world. Each plant has different characteristics that yield different cannabinoid and terpenes. Marijuana will typically have a higher amount of the phytocannabinoid THC with a very low amount of CBD. However, industrial hemp will have a higher amount of CBD with low trace amounts of THC.

Can I give CBD to my pets?Absolutely! Studies have found that CBD has worked for dogs and other pets in the same way that it has worked for humans, through the cannibinoid receptors in their brain. Common benefits are decreasing anxiety, decreasing inflammation in joints, and so much more!

How does CBD work?Did you know that your body has a built in Endo cannabinoidsystem? Your body (and your pets too) naturally produce cannabinoids. The primary purposes of the Endocannabinoid system are to assist in stress relief, Neurprotection, immune response and regulating the bodies state of homeostasis. Almost every organ in your body, including your largest organ the skin, contains cannabinoid receptors. When homeostasis is achieved, all body organs and functions are working together in unison. We can break it down further, but we suggest you schedule a consultation for that, we would love to chat! To keep it simple, the Endocannabinoid system also known as ECS, it’s so amazing that from beginning of life, it determines if a fertilized egg will implant in the uterine wall...or not.

Is CBD Legal?YES! The 2018 United States Farm Bill legalized and allows for commercial cultivation of hemp under federal regulations. Currently, there is legislation pushing the FDA to include CBD be defined as a dietary supplement.

Can I fail a drug test if I take CBD products?While the CBD movement is in full swing and moving swiftly, there are still regulations as stated above. CBD products must have THC levels .03% or lower. We are happy to provide a lab analysis for any of our products upon request or if required by product purchase. With that said, why take a chance? All drug tests are not created equal. CBD can also be purchased as an isolate, which is pure CBD, and no THC.

Can aynone purchase CBD?Anyone in the United States over the age of 18 years of age can purchase CBD, UNLESS you are purchasing smokables or inhalables, in which case you must be 21 years or older.

How often should I take CBD?Daily or as needed.

Can I take too much CBD?Taking too much CBD is the equivalent of drowning by drinking too much water. It’s not likely going to happen. You will definitely have a good sleep though! But as always, please follow recommended dosage on the product package.
